| 12 Gauge; 50% blue, very good bore, good stock, 30'' barrel, Manufactured in Belgium circa 1950. Original blue metal finish, mounted in checkered walnut. 2 1/2 inch chambers with Full and Improved Modified chokes. Both sides of the frame are engraved with a banner bordering "POUDRE VIVE" in gold inlay. Features a boxlock action with a Greener style crossbolt, extractor, double triggers, Anson style push button release forearm and a round knob grip stock with a 14 3/8 inch LOP. The metal finish is worn with some minor spotting overall. A stick on monofillament sight has been added behind the front sight bead on the barrels. The wood shows wear and handling, the stock having a chip missing on the toe. The bone buttplate as some damage on the toe end as well. The left side of the stock appears to have had a cheekrest removed. The action works fine. There is a small bit of up/down play in barrel lockup. C&R/FFL, s/n 800xx |
