| 12 Gauge; 70% blue, very good bore, poor stock, 29.5'' barrel, Manufactured in Belgium circa 1930s. Original blue finish barrels, casehardened frame, mounted in checkered walnut. Engraved on top of the rib "J.B. RONGE FILS A LIEGE". Marked on top of the right barrel "Tillverkade I Liege" and on the left barrel "For Mauritz Widfross H.A.B. Stockholm". 2 1/'2 inch chambers with Full and Modified chokes. Featrues a boxlock action with a Greener style crossbolt, extractor, double triggers, Anson style push button forearm release and a round knob grip stock with cheekrest and a 14 inch LOP. The metal finish shows wear and handling and the frame retains no exgternal case color. The wood show lots of wear and the stock is cracked around the wrist with metal plates installled on both sides to repair. There is also a small chip of wood missing on the stock toe. Mechanically fine with tight lockup, the stock will need attention. C&R/FFL, s/n 362xx |
