| 12 Gauge; poor bore, good stock, 29 5/8'' barrel, Manufactured in Belgium circa 1880. Browned finish Damascus barrels. Casehardened frame and lockplates. Mounted in a walnut checkered straight grip stock , checkered walnut wedged forend and a walnut wraped underlever. Gold border inlay on the lockplates and frame. Short chambers, both chokes guaging Cylinder. The left barrel has a couple of minor dents on the side. The finish on the barrels is thinning. The frame and lockplates have turned gray. There is some light spotting on most of the metal surfaces. The checkering on the wood is worn. The actions work fine. Barrel lockup is loose. The bores are dark with pitting. Antique., s/n 22 |
