| 22 SHORT CAL; fair bore, excellent grips, 7'' barrel, Pair of cased single shot pistols, manufactured in Belgium c.1890. Pistols are indentical to each other, having nickel plated finish with fine checkered walnut grips. Octagon barrels with fixed blued finish front and rear sights. Both are marked with Liege proofing on the left sides of the barrel chambers, both are marked on the bottom barrel flat "LDI", and both have the same serial number. Tip up actions with spur style triggers and checkered hammer spurs. Both retain 95%+ nickel finish, with both having levels of spotting and flaking finish, mostly light. Both function well, however both have dark and rusty bores, showing strong rifling. Canvas covered lockable wooden case with leather re-inforced corners and lid edges. Maroon felt fitted interior with small compartments at each corner for cleaning accessories and/or cartridges. The key for the case lock is included., s/n 69xx |
