| 455 Webley; fair bore, poor grips, 5 3/8'' barrel, Manufactured in Belgium circa early 1900s. Nickel finish with checkered gutta percha grips. Fixed sights. 6-shot fluted cylinder. Top break double action. Belgian proofs. Top of barrel rib is roll marked with forged S&W single line address and patent dates. Also has British view proofing and is stamped on the right side of the frame above the serial number "NOT ENGLISH MAKE". The nickel finish is flaking with surface rust in the areas of loss. The grips show wear, the left panel has a few small cracks and a large splnter of material missing along the back edge. The action functions in double action only. Barrel locks up fine. C&R/FFL, s/n 46xx |
