| 16 Ga; fair bore, fair stock, 29.75'' barrel, Unmarked except for the standard Belgian proofs of the period. 2 1/2 inch chambers with both chokes gauging Cylinder. It appears the barrels were shortened to length long ago. Browned Damascus barrels, casehardened frame and mounted in a checkered straight grip stock. The barrels finish has worn to a gray/brown patina with the left barrel having several dents towards the muzzle and a small bulge on the bottom near the sling swivel. The frame has turned a spotty patina overall. The stock has cracks around the wrist area and a chip at the toe which has had the buttplate bent over. The actions work well and lockup is good. The right hammer has a weld or solder in the screw hole. SOLD AS IS for parts or decoration. Antique., s/n 40xx |
