The bore is bright, and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion. The right side of the barrel is marked “CAL. 9 Short / 380 Auto”. The left side of the slide is marked “PIETRO BERETTA,” “GARDONE V. T. – MADE IN ITALY.” The right side of the slide is marked with “PB” in an oval, “B. The left side of the frame is marked “MOD. 85 BB – CAL. 9 Short”. The right side of the frame is marked “PB,” the serial number “Y09721Y”, an Italian proof mark, and “CU” date code, and another Italian proof mark.
