| 8x57mm; 92% blue, good bore, good stock, 23.5'' barrel, Original blued finish. Laminated stock and handguard, not matching, with no legilbe external markings. Cupped buttplate. Stamped on top of the receiver with an eagle/749 proof over the Lubecker code "duv", and date 42. Eagle/swaz military acceptance marks on the left side of the barrel and receiver ring. The top of the barrel chamber is stamped "avk 89 42..". The right side of the rear sight base sleeve is stamped with a small i. All numbered metal parts are matching and are milled with closed upper band. Original front sight hood. 12 1/2" cleaning rod is a possible reproduction? There are scattered areas of minor-moderate spotting and pitting on some edges. No import markings. The bore has some shine with fairly strong rifling, showing corrosion throughout., s/n 71xxs |
