| 60 Caliber; 95% blue, mint bore, excellent stock, 34'' barrel, Boutet circa 1814. Original condition. Gunsmith for Napoleon and the French and European Kings and Royalty. Shop in Versailles, France. 90-95% original finish. No rust or restoration. Shows minor handling, but little or no signs of firing. Many say Boutet was the best gun maker who ever lived! Escutcheon behind rear tang has been removed. May have been initials or Royal crest or logo. Bores measure 60 caliber, barrels are 34-inch, overall is 50-inch. |
