| 1920s era leather firefighting helmet, maker marking on the underside of the rear brim is mostly illegible, maker from Glasgow. White stenciled number 117 over the maker mark. Impressed emblem oin the front reads "BRITISH FIRE SERVICES" followed by another word which is illegible because of wear. A hole is drilled thru the front of the emblem where a badge was attached at some point. Complete leather suspension liner, beginning the separate from the leather band. One side of the chin strap is missing. Over all good, showing wear., |
