| Heavy bronzed statue of a wounded French soldier holding a Gras rifle and being treated by a doctor or priest. Stands 15.25" tall with an 8" diameter base. Marked on the front of the base Dieu Et Patrie. Marked on the back with the artist name L. Pilet. Great detail. Also includes a bronzed copper wall plaque of a Roman soldier on horseback spearing a serpeant. It appears the spear is missing being replaced by a piece of brass wire. Unmarked except for a number 1899 scratched onto the back. Measures 11" in diameter.Items weigh a combined 23 lbs., |
