South African ownership U broad arrow and U diamond markings on top of the receiver ring. South African registration number stamped on the right side of the rear receiver and on the left side of the receiver ring. Proper but non-matching bolt. Blued finish appears original. Stocked in light walnut, the forend not cut for the volley sight plate on the left side. The rear volley sight aperture is removed. The stock cleaned up in the area for the aperture when folded. Wood is unmarked externally. Handguard has small cracks on top at the front and rear. BSA stacked rifles logo on the barrel knox. Bore has strong rifling, moderate frost throughout.
