THE RIFLE IS REFERENCED ON PAGE 187 IN MR SIMPSONS BOOK "TRAINING RIFLES OF THE THIRD REICH GERMANY." THE BLUING IS BRIGHT ON THE RECEIVER AND BARREL BUT SHOWS OXIDATION ON THE FRONT BAND. THE BORE IS MIRROR BRIGHT WITH SHARP RIFLING. THE STOCK HAS A SMALL 1.25" SLIVER MISSING FROM THE LEFT SIDE BETWEEN THE BANDS.
