| 12 Gauge; 90% blue, excellent bore, good stock, 26.75'' barrel, Luftwaffe marked. Blue finish barrels, casehardened frame, mounted in checkered walnut. BSW marked on the frame, Gustloff-Werke marked on the lower barrel. 8/41 dated with eagle/N commercial proofing. British proofs on the left side of the barrel chambers. "NOT ENGLISH MAKE" with British view proofs on both sides of the frame. Matching serial numbers. The right side of the barrel chambers and stock are marked with a Luftwaffe eagle/swaz. 2 3/4 inch chamber solid ribbed barrel with Full and Modified chokes. Silver bead front sight, silver bead center sight filed smooth. Boxlock action with ejectors, side mounted cocking indicators, double triggers, three piece forearm with latch release, round knob grip stock with a 14.5 inch Length of Pull with a serrated plastic buttplate. The buttstock appears to have been lightly refinished with checkering recut on both the stock and forearm. The barrels have an old reblued finish over some minor pitting. Some minor spotting on the frame. The rib is beginning to raise near the chambers. Mechanically fine and tight. Tiny US import mark on the frame. From the collection of Dr. Geoffrey Sturgess.
