| 16 Gauge; 60% blue, good bore, fair stock, 28 3/8'' barrel, Manufactured in Germany, dated March 1939. Swedish retail markings on top of each barrel. Original blue finish, casehardened frame, mounted in checkered walnut. Solid matted rib with bead front sight. 2 9/16 inch chambers with Modified chokes, barrels possibly shortened some long ago. Boxlock action with crossbolt, extractor, double trigger with bakelite guard, latch release forearm, round knob grip stock with cheekrest, original buttplate with a 14.25 inch LOP. Used, showing wear and handling. The stock has a bolt run thru the wrist with filler, tight 1.5 inch crack behind the upper tang. There is some minor chipping on the stock at the frame. Checkering worn. Buttplate missing a chip at the heel. Trigger guard tang has an added screw. Mechanically fine with tight lockup. C&R/FFL, s/n 482xx |
