| Unknown Caliber; 95% blue, excellent bore, excellent stock, 21'' barrel, This is the exceptionally well preserved Burnside single shot percussion carbine, Model 1864, aka "5th model" in .54 Burnside. "Model 1864" stamped on the top of the breech. The barrel is stamped "Cast Steel", followed by a partially visible date, Burnside address on right lock. Very minor handling / storage wear with a mirror bright bore. Stock markings are still crisp. It is missing the front band. ANTIQUE., s/n 119xx |
