| 8mm Mauser; 60% blue, excellent bore, good stock, 17.75'' barrel, Arsenal refurbished and converted to 8 x 57 Mauser during WW2. Original blue finish and non-matching serial numbered beechwood stock. No remaining arsenal markings on the barrel chamber, only marked with the serial number. Fixed front and rear sights, the base of the rear sight stamped 7.92. Missing the cleaning rod. Older CAI import, marked on the end of the barrel. The metal finish shows wear and handling. The stock has small dings and scratches overall. The handguard has small "biscuit" repairs to cracks at the back end, with a small chip of wood missing on the left side. Mechanically fine with a bright bore. NOT RECOMMENDED FOR USE, curio display only. C&R/FFL, s/n 983xx |
