| 8x58mmRD; 70% blue, Very good bore, Good stock, 28'' barrel, Mfg. 1870 The front sight is a blade and the rear is a elevation adjustable ladder type. But the slide on the ladder is missing. The finish on the barrel has some patina and on the bottom of the barrel it has some pitting. The front sling swivel has been welded to the barrel. The receiver has traces of case color . The left side of the receiver and the barrel have the serial number. The right side has a CROWN/C proof and 1870 It is a center fire and the action works. The forearm finish is thinning. The stock has been varnished., s/n 15xx |
