| 10 GAUGE; poor bore, fair stock, 30'' barrel, Manufactured in Belgium c.1887. Damascus barrels, chambers gauge 3 1/2". Barrels cut to length. Smooth barrel rib with dolls head extension marked "BELGIUM LAMINATED STEEL". Right lockplate marked "MACHINE MADE", left plate marked "CG BONNELL". Assembly numbers match on barrel and frame. Checkered walnut stock varnished long ago. Forearm has a chip on the right side end and a pin repair on the left tip. Stock has a small chip and minor crack at the tip of the upper tang. Two 1" cracks on the right side of the stock toe. Actions function fine and barrel lockup is okay. Metal finish has aged and turned dark patina overall some surface rusting and pitting on the barrels. Bore are dark with pitting throughout. Antique, s/n P63xx |
