| 31 Caliber; fair bore, good grips, 6'' barrel, Manufactured in 1852. Mostly gray patina, has trace original bright blued finish. Casehardened frame. Silver plated brass trigger guard and backstrap with approximately 40% plated finish remaining, front strap retains most of the finish. Matching serial numbers to include the wedge. 90% stagecoach scene on the 5-shot cylinder. Varnish finished walnut grip with some loss of varnish, mainly on the lower edges and rear of the right side. Stamped on top of the barrel with the Colt's address in two lines. Left side of the frame marked "COLT'S/PATENT". Fairly minor spotting on the metal, dings on the right side of the barrel at the wedge. The action functions well. Bore has pitting.
