| 36 Caliber; fair bore, fair grips, 7.5'' barrel, Manufactured in 1857. Matching serial numbers including the barrel wedge. Stamped on top of the barrel "-ADDRESS SAML COLT HARTFORD CT-". Left frame is marked "COLT'S/PATENT". 20% naval cylinder scene. The metal is patina and surface rusty. The brass trigger guard and backstrap appear to have been cleaned at some point. Grip is finish worn with the right side missing chips at both lower corners. The action functions however does not hold on back notch. Barrel is tight, ramrod functions fine. One nipple is damaged.
