| 36 Caliber; fair bore, good grips, 7.5'' barrel, Manufactured in 1863. All matching serial numbers including the wedge. Stamped in a single line on top of the barrel "-ADDRESS COL. SAML COLT NEW-YORK U.S. AMERICA-". Stamped on the left side of the frame "COLT'S/PATENT" and on the side of the trigger guard with the caliber "36CAL". Metal has aged to a spotting patina overall. Grip shows worn varnish finish with several dings and small dents. Cylinder Naval battle scene is light but visible. Screws have been turned but slots are not damaged. The action functions well. There is slight movement in the barrel to frame fit. Antique., s/n 120xx |
