| 38 Colt; fair bore, good grips, 3.5'' barrel, Manufactured in 1889. Double action with original factory nickel finish and checkered hard rubber birdshead grips. Matching serial numbers. 6-shot cylinder with long flutes. Round barrel with fixed sight. Stamped on top of the barrel with the Colt's address in two lines. The left side of the frame is stamped with patent dates 1871, 1874 and 1875 in three lines. Caliber designation "38 CAL " stamped on the left rear trigger guard. The nickel finish has dulled with areas of flaking and spotting. Small scratches on dings overall. The bore is frosted. Mechanically in fine conditon. Antique., s/n 733xx |
