| 45 ACP; 80% blue, good bore, very good grips, 5'' barrel, With Colt factory letter. Manufactured in 1913. Original bright blued finish and checkered walnut double diamond grips. Parts correct. Marked on the left side of the slide with the two line two block Colt's patent dates and address, with the Rampant Colt logo to the rear of the serrations. Left side of the frame is marked "UNITED STATES PROPERTY" with the inpsector marking of WALTER G PENFIELD. Left side is marked "MODEL OF 1911. U.S. ARMY". Two tone finish lanyard loop magazine. The factory letter states shipment to the Commanding Officer at Benecia Arsenal California on May 28, 1913, one of 700 guns shipped. Holster and handling wear, no rust or pitting., s/n 328xx |
