| 45 ACP; fair bore, good grips, 5'' barrel, Manufactured in 1918. Original blued finish mixed mostly patina with dark spotting overall. Original checkered walnut diamond grips. Two block two line patent dates and Colt's address on the left side of the slide. Rampant Colt logo behind the serration. The right side of the slide is stamped "MODEL OF 1911. U.S. ARMY". The left side of the frame is stamped with an eagleshead/S14 proof. The US PROPERTY mark has been scrubbed from the left side of the frame. the top of the barrel chamber is stamped HP. Two tone finish magazine, turned mostly patina as well. Parts correct and mechanically fine. The bore shows wear with corrosion along the grooves., s/n 3694xx |
