| 38 Caliber; 98% blue, excellent bore, good grips, 7 1/2'' barrel, COLT BISLEY MADE IN 1901 THAT WAS CONVERTED FROM 45 COLT TO 38 SPECIAL IN VERY GOOD REDONE CONDITION. THE REVOLVER COMES WITH A FACTORY LETTER STATING IT WAS ORIGINALLY CHAMBERED IN 45 COLT WITH A 4 3/4" BARREL. THE BLUING IS EXCELLENT AND THE 7 1/2" BARREL IS UNMARKED. THE CASE COLORS ARE SOMEWHAT MOTTLED AND RETAIN APPROX 85% OF THEIR COLORS. THE 38 SPECIAL CYLINDER IS A COLT CYLINDER WITH THE RAMPANT COLT ON THE REAR. THE BORE IS BRIGHT WITH EXCELLENT RIFLING. THE CHECKERED REPLACEMENT GRIPS ARE PROUD AT THE BASE AND NEED TO BE FITTED. THE ACTION IS SMOOTH, TIGHT AND IN TIME., s/n 2180xx |
