| 44 S&W; good bore, good grips, 7.5'' barrel, Manufactured in 1897, target model with fine checkered topstrap and drift adjustable rear sight. Round barrel with fixed front sight, beaded removeable blade. Checkered trigger. Metal finish aged and worn to patina. Casehardened frame, mostly patina with trace case color. Original checkered hard rubber grips, the right panel with a small repaired chip at the heel. Single line Colt's address stamped on top of the barrel. Left side of the barrel marked "(BISLEY MODEL) 44-S&W.". Left side of the frame is stamped with the circled Rampant Colt logo and 1871 and 1875 patent dates in two lines. Grips show wear and handling. Action functions well. The bore is frosted with strong rifling. Antique., s/n 1693xx |
