| 38 Colt; 90% blue, very good bore, very good grips, 4.5'' barrel, Made in 1902. Original bright blue finish, casehardened frame and checkered hard rubber grips. 6-shot fluted cylinder. Stamped on top of the barrel with the Colt's address in two lines. The left side of the frame is stamped with patent dates 1871-1875 in three lines, along with the circled rampant Colt logo. Condition: The metal finish shows some edge wear, most finish loss on the ejector housing, with areas of light surface spotting. The frame retains generous case color. The grips are fine with no damage or repairs. Mechanically fine with a smooth action and good cylinder lockup. The bore has shine and sharp rifling, having a few areas of light frost.
