| 38 Special; 99% blue, mint bore, mint grips, 2'' barrel, Manufactured in 1952. Original blued finish, checkered Coltwood grips with Rampant Colt logos. Fixed sights. Serrated hammer. Grooved trigger. In the original factory brown hinged lid box with full gold label and matching serial hand written on the bottom. Original bore brush and shooting suggestions phamplet. The box is in over all very good condition, wear on edges and corners, small scuff and scratch here and there, lid intact. Also includes original sales receipts, sold to the Moline IL Police dept. in May of 1952 and named to a detective. This revolver was obviously never carried. There is some minor wear on the front sharp edges of the cylinder and a very faint turn line. Factory markings are sharp. Also includes a period black leather holster with snap over belt loop in Excellent condition, unmarked, consignor notes state the holster was purchased at the time for use with the revolver., s/n 6207xx |
