| 44/40 Caliber; 90% blue, very good bore, very good+ grips, 7 1/2'' barrel, COLT FRONTIER SIX SHOOTER MADE IN 1880 IN ANTIQUE EXCELLENT CONDITION. THE BLUING IS STILL MOSTLY BRIGHT ON THE BARREL AND EJECTOR ROD HOUSING. THE CYLINDER IS TURNING MOSTLY PATINA WITH BRIGHT BLUING REMAINING IN THE FLUTES. THE HEAVIEST BLUING WEAR IS ON THE GRIP STRAPS. THE FRAME AND HAMMER RETAIN APPROX 60/70% OF THEIR COLORS. THE BORE IS BRIGHT WITH VERY GOOD + RIFLING. THE ONE PIECE WALNUT GRIPS EXHIBIT LIGHT WEAR ALONG WITH LIGHT HANDLING MARKS. COMES WITH A FACTORY LETTER. THIS COLT IS IN IDENTICAL CONFIGURATION AND JUST 11 NUMBERS OFF THE COLT USED BY PAT GARRETT TO DISPATCH "BILLY THE KID"., s/n 550xx |
