| 44-40 Win; 97% blue, excellent bore, excellent grips, 7 1/2'' barrel, SAA Frontier Six Shooter manufactured in 1917. Original blue finish and casehardened frame. Fitted with genuine Sterling silver grips with floral engraving. Oval on right panel has a name engraved (HANK). Matching serial numbers. Includes an original Colt factory letter dated 1994. The letter states the gun was one of 1 shipped to H.D. Fourweather in June of 1917. This revolver has not seen much use, minor holstering wear on the left side of the barrels muzzle, and faint turn lines on the cylinder. Case colors on the frame are vivid and uniform over all. The grips actually show more age than the revolver and very well could have been transferred to this gun from another long ago. The fit of the grips to the grip frame is not perfect but they fit well. Mechanically excellent and clean. C&R/FFL, s/n 3363xx |
