| 22 cal; 90% blue, very good bore, good stock, 24'' barrel, Manufactured at the end of production in 1904, with original bright blue finish and walnut stock. Marked on top of the full octagon barrel "COLT'S PT. F.A. MFG. CO. HARTFORD CONN. U.S.A. over patent dates 1883-1887. The Rampant Colt logo appears on the left side of the frame. The barrel is fitted with standard fixed front and rear sights. The finish shows some wear and handling along with minor spotting overall and an area of minor corrosion and finish loss on the bottom of the frame. The hammer retains some case color. The stock has minor dings and scratches, fitted with the original hard rubber buttplate. The forend has good border engraved detail, with a crack running from the end to the screw. Mechanically fine with a sharp bore. C&R/FFL, s/n 889xx |
