| 38 RF; poor bore, good grips, 4 1/2'' barrel, COLT MODEL 1861 NAVY CONVERSION IN ANTIQUE FINE CONDITION. THE REVOLVER WAS MANUFATURED IN 1862 AND POST WAR CONVERTED BETWEEN 1873-1876. THE NICKLE PLATING IS BRIGHT AND MOSTLY INTACT ON THE BARREL, THE PLATING ON THE FRAME AND CYLINDER HAS DULLED. THE TRIGGER GUARD RETAINS MOST OF ITS SILVER PLATING. THE BORE HAS WELL WORN RIFLING WITH OXIDATION PRESNT. THE SMOOTH ONE PIECE GRIPS ARE SOLID WITH MODERATE WEAR. THE ACTION FUNCTIONS PROPERLY., s/n 78xx |
