| 380 ACP; 92% blue, very good bore, very good grips, 3.75'' barrel, Scarce M Model U.S. Property marked pistol with original blue finish and checkered walnut grips. Manufactured in 1944. Complete with the original blue finish factory magazine. Standard fixed sights. Stamped on the left side of the slide with the two-line Colt's address and patent dates 1897-1903. The Rampant Colt logo apepars behind the slide serrations. The left side of the frame has the added M prefix to the serial number. The right side of the slide is marked "COLT AUTOMATIC/CALIBRE .380 HAMMERLESS". The right side of the frame is stamped "U.S. PROPERTY". The metal finish remains bright, showing some light spotting along the edges of the slide and right side of the frame. The back grip frame strap has some browning and minor surface spotting. Mechanically fine, the bore has sharp rifling, showing some minor frost in the grooves. C&R/FFL, s/n M1376xx |
