| 22 Long; 75% blue, fair bore, good grips, 2.25'' barrel, 2nd Model, manufactured c.1877. Original nickel plated frame with blued flat sided barrel and long fluted 7-shot cylinder. Birdshead varnish finished rosewood grips. Sput trigger and hammer retain generous fire blued finish. Stamped on top of the barrel with the Colt's Hartford address in two lines. Acid etchING on the left side of the barrel "COLT NEW 22" AT 80%. Mechanically fine. Handling scratches and tiny dings on the frame. Light spotting on the sides of the barrel near the muzzle. Antique., s/n 497xx |
