| 22 CAL; fair bore, fair grips, 2.25'' barrel, First model, manufactured in 1874. Factory nickel finish with genuine pearl grips. Matching serial numbers. Stamped on top of the barrel with the two-line Colt's address. Caliber designation "22 CAL" stamped on the left side of the frame. No legible etching on the left side of the barrel. Solid frame with 7-shot cylinder, spur trigger. It appears finish has been removed from the cylinder with some scattered light pitting visible. Cylinder pin is a non-original replacement and the catch assembly for the cylinder pin is missing. The action functions fine. Some loss of nickel finish on the frame edges. Antique., s/n 71xx |
