| 455 Cal; 50% blue, very good+ bore, good grips, 5.5'' barrel, North West Mounted Police marked on the backstrap "N.W.M.P. 77". MP stamped on the butt of the grip frame. Manufactured in 1904. Original blued finish with checkered hard rubber grips. Stamped on top of the barrel with the Colt's address and patent dates 1884 and 1900 in two lines. Left side of the barrel marked "NEW SERVICE 455 ELEY", Rampant Colt logo on the left side frame plate circled by "COLT'S NEW SERVICE". Lanyard ring on grip butt. Metal finish shows wear and handling. Action functions well, bore is bright with strong rifling. Import marked., s/n 114xx |
