| 45 Cal; 87% blue, very good bore, very good grips, 5.5'' barrel, Manufactured in 1916. British military broad arrow proofed and sale marked. Older re-finish with replacement checkered plastic grips. Cylinder rechambered for 45 Colt. Stamped on top of the barrel with the Colt's address and patent dates 1884, 1900 and 1905 in two lines, markings faint. Left side of the barrel marked "NEW SERVICE 455 ELEY" with the new chambering mark above "CAL. 45 COLT". Rampant Colt logo on the left side frame plate is faint. Previous owners initials JT scratched on the plate. Lanyard ring on grip butt. Metal finish shows edge wear. Action functions well. Bore has shine and strong rifling. Import marked., s/n 953xx |
