| 38 Special; 99% blue, mint bore, excellent+ grips, 6'' barrel, Manufactured in 1929, with the original blued finish and checkered walnut grips with silver Colt medallions. Adjustable sights. Fine checkered trigger, hammer spur and rear grip strap. Stamped on top of the barrel in two lines with the Colt's address over patent dates 1884, 1905 and 1926. Caliber designation located on the left side of the barrel and the Rampant Colt logo is on the left side frame plate. This revolver is in near mint condition overall. There is an area of minor corrosion on the left side of the hammer spur. Very faint turn line on the cylinder. The bore is bright and sharp, chambers are clean. Included with the revolver is a period leather belt and open top holster, both are of good quality. However the snap for the keeper strap on the holster has detached. The holster is unmarked as to maker. The adjustable length belt is marked Lyon & Coulson Buffalo NY and has 31 loops., s/n 5410xx |
