| 44 Colt; good bore, fair grips, 8'' barrel, First model Richards conversion. Nickel plated finish, plain walnut grip. Matching numbers except the unmarked wedge which has a broken spring and the cylinder arbor. Loading lever cutout plugged with ejector assembly fitted and loading gate. Fixed front sight with a V notch rear sight on top of the frame. Single line Colt's address stamped on top of the barrel. Left frame marked "COLT'S/PATENT". Cylinder retains approx 90%+ naval battle scene. Most finish loss and thinning is on the barrel with scattered dark spotting overall. The action functions fine. Right side of the barrel muzzle worn from holstering. Grips worn with a cleaned up chip on the left grips lower front corner. Antique, s/n 27xx |
