| 38 WCF; 15% blue, fair bore, excellent grips, 4.8'' barrel, This revolver has been restored. Manufactured in 1899. Original blue finish with casehardened frame and fitted with replacement walnut grips. Matching trigger guard and backstrap. Stamped on top of the barrel with the Colt's single line address. The left side of the barrel is stamped with the caliber designation 32 W.C.F. The left side of the frame is stamped with patent dates 1871, 1872 and 1875 in two lines followed by a circled Rampant Colt logo. The metal shows traces of the blue finish in the more protected areas. The frame has turned mostly gray. There is light spotting in the metal overall., s/n 1859xx |
