| 41 Colt; 60% blue, good bore, good grips, 4 3/4'' barrel, Manufactured in 1901. Original blue finish, casehardened frame and checkered hard rubber grips. Matching serial numbers. Colt factory letter which states that this revolver was shipped to Simmons Hardware Company in St Louis Missouri November 19, 1901. Stamped on top of the barrel with the two-line Colt's address and on the left side of the frame with patent dates 1871, 1872 and 1875 in two lines followed by the circled Rampant Colt logo. The blue finish is thinning evenly with most loss on the grip frame. Case color has mostly faded from the frame. Clean metal with clear markings. Mechanically fine with a smooth crisp action. No rust or pitting and undamaged screw slots. C&R/FFL, s/n 2178xx |
