| 45 ACP; 95% blue, excellent bore, very good+ grips, 5.5'' barrel, Original blued finish and plain walnut grips. Matching numbers, frame and cylinder crane. Standard Colt's two line address and patent dates 1884, 1900 and 1905 on top of the barrel. Rampant Colt logo on the left side of the frame plate. Left side of the barrel is marked "COLT DA 45". The butt of the grip frame is marked "U.S. / ARMY / MODEL / 1917". Lanyard loop located on the butt of the frame. The bottom of the barrel is marked "UNITED STATES PROPERTY". And the upper left rear corner of the frame is stamped with an eagleshead/7 proof. The original brushed finish shows through. There is scattered light surface spotting on the metal. The cylinder has small areas of light pitting along one flute and on the back edge at the end of that flute. Mechanically fine with a smooth precise Colt action and tight cylinder lockup., s/n 1262xx |
