| 8mm; 85% blue, Good bore, Good stock, 24'' barrel, GERMAN K98k CODE "dot 1944" WAFFEN WERKE BRUNN IN GOOD CONDITION. THIS IS A RUSSIAN CAPTURE EXAMPLE THAT HAS BEEN HEAVILY REWORKD. THE FINISH IS A DIP BLUE WITH HEAVY FRECKLING ON THE RECEIVER. THE BORE IS BRIGHT WITH GOOD RIFLING BUT HAS BEEN COUNTERBORED AT THE MUZZLE. THE LAMINATED STOCK WAS HEAVILY SANDED BY THE RUSSIANS BEFORE PUTTING A HEAVY COAT OF SHELLAC ON. MOST PARTS ARE MISMATCHED AS IS TYPICAL FOR THESE RC K98s. THE WAFFENAMPTS ARE INTACT AND THE RIFLE COMES WITH A REPRO SLING., s/n 80xxx |
