| 10 Gauge; fair bore, good stock, 27.25'' barrel, Manufactured in England, engraved on top of the barrel rib "Dooley, 11 Ranelagh Street. Liverpool". Browned Damascus barrels have been shortened to length long ago. Mounted in a checkered straight grip walnut stock, single wedge forend. Replaced ramrod. Scroll and border engraving on the lockplates, tangs and trigger guard, with hunting dog scenes on both lockplates and the bottom of the trigger guard. Thin finish on the barrels. Mechanically fine. Antique, s/n 16xx |
