| 95% blue, 6 1/2'' barrel, Scarce Dreyse needle fire pistol with rear facing loading cylinder lever. Drift adjustable front sight and a V-notch rear sight. The right side of the receiver is caliber marked "Cal:0.34" 6 Gran Pulv" The right side of the barrel is marked with the s/n. The breechblock, with matching number 88, is released by depressing the spring projection against the lug protruding from the left side. Depressing the trigger allows the bolt to be fully removed from the receiver. Octagon barrel retains about 95% blue with very minor spotting, while lever, bolt and trigger guard are a dark gray with light spotting. Solid, single piece wood stock with coarse checkering on each side of the grip has no cracks. Bore is dark with good rifling. Antique., s/n 254xx |
