| 30 Luger; 95% blue, 75% straw, poor bore, very good grips, 4.75'' barrel, 4 3/4 inch .30 cailber barrel, roll marked on top of the barrel "MANUFACTURE FRANCAISE D'ARMES & CYCLES SAINT ETIENNE" by Manufrance (DWM's importer in France), most likely for French commercial sales. DWM scroll on center toggle link. Crown/BUG proofed toggle. Grip safety, wide trigger guard, checkered safety. All numbered parts are matching including the checkered walnut grips. Swiss style wood disc magazine. This pistol is featured on pages 566 and 590 of the book "Borchardt & Luger Automatic Pistols" by Joachim Gortz and Dr. Geoffrey Sturgess. From the collection of Dr. Geoffrey Sturgess. An old restoration. Some spotting on the top of the left toggle and the left side of the magazine release button. The bore is worn and pitted. Excellent magazine. Mechanics are sound however the mainspring is a bit weak. Import marked on the bottom of the frame. C&R/FFL, s/n 10xx, Catalog Number D-346 |
