| 30 Luger; 50% blue, 10% straw, poor bore, fair grips, 4.75'' barrel, Rare blank toggle DWM 1900 Luger with 4 3/4 inch barrel with full s/n on the bottom. Blank center toggle link. Dished toggles with toggle latch. Full s/n on front of frame. This gun lies between first and second blocks of Dutch 1905 trials guns with 4 inch barrels and may be another unidentified trial variation. All numbered parts on gun are matching. Extra numbers have been added to the left side of frame after manufacture. Checkered walnut grips. Grip safety. Wide trigger guard. Plain wood bottom magazine. This gun is mentioned on page 224 of the book "Borchardt & Luger Automatic Pistols" by Joachim Gortz and Dr. Geoffrey Sturgess. From the collection of Dr. Geoffrey Sturgess. Fair over all condition. Oxidation and scattered light pitting on the metal. Heavier pitting on right frame rail and sideplate. Strawed small parts show some corrosion and darkening. The bore is worn and pitted. Grips are worn with compression to the checkering. Magazine is very good. Mechanics are sound. Import marked on the bottom of the frame. C&R/FFL, s/n 223xx, Catalog Number D-254 |
