| 30 Luger; 96% blue, 70% straw, excellent bore, very good grips, 4.75'' barrel, This is an oddly marked 1906 model Luger pistol, which is stamped on the right side of the receiver and frame above the trigger with a single Imperial proof followed by an Imperial era military type acceptance mark, and the same markings appear on the bottom of the barrels chamber with the acceptance mark over an Imperial type proof. The only parts which are numbered besides the frame at the front are the barrel, sideplate on the bottom edge and the rear toggle, each stamped with the last two digits of the serial number "00". There are no other proofs. The center toggle is marked with the DWM monogram. The safety area on the left side of the toggle housing is in the white. The pistol has its original blued finish and strawed small parts with checkered walnut grips. Unmarked commercial magazine with wood base. Metal finish shows some high point wear from holstering with finish loss on the grip safety. Our import mark, we purchased this pistol in Switzerland., s/n 297xx, Catalog Number D-169 |
