| 9mm Luger; 93% blue, 70% straw, good bore, good grips, 6'' barrel, This pistol was manufactured by DWM in 1906 for the Imperial German Navy and probably saw service in WW1. It is Wilhelmshaven Dockyard Unit marked "WW/5615" on the back strap. The safety was altered by the Germany Navy. This pistol has original blue finish, strawed small parts and matching number checkered walnut grips. Internal numbered parts are matching. Crown/M proofed Navy wood bottom magazine with concentric rings on the sides of the base with some small dings on the bottom. This pistol is all original with respect to finish, parts and markings. There is wear on sharp edges and corners and some scattered minor spotting. The over all condition is above average for this model.. This pistols are desireable in original condition with all matching numbers like this and collectors are always lokking for original Navy issue Lugers like this one. Includes an original Navy holster in fair condition, maker marked inside the back "H. Clemen/Elberfeld". Missing the internal lifting strap, shoulder strap loops on the back and flap for the cleaning rod pouch. Also included and it came with the pistol is a U.S. WW1 issue brass cleaning rod for the M1911 45 caliber pistols. Complete with a Letter of Authentication from Simpson LTD. C&R/FFL, s/n 75xx, Catalog Number NA-37 |
